Citizens of most countries require valid visa to enter Bangladesh
Below information is provided to give you an overview however it is strongly advised to check with the Bangladeshi consulate in your own country for the most updated and specific information.
All visitors to Bangladesh are required to possess a valid passport with an expiration date at least 6 months after the date of entry into the territory of Bangladesh. Passports must contain at least one blank visa page available for visa stamp(s). Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Bangladesh visas.
Bangladeshi government provides visa on arrival option for the citizens of many countries so please check the website carefully. If you need a visa, visas can be obtained from the Bangladeshi consulates of the origin of your countries. The letter of invitation to ICAAP12 delegates which you may use as a letter for Visa on Arrival at the immigration as well as for a Visa request from the consulates can be found in the following section. Please make sure you have the printed out copy of your invitation letter with you when you arrive to show it to the authorities. For visa on arrival option a visa fee of 51.-usd will be charged by the authorities and you may find the visa on arrival desk before you move to the main immigration counters. All authorities are informed to provide necessary assistance to the ICAAP12 delegates.
